Broadstone Neighborhood Watch

We are ready to get started. Thank you to those who have volunteered so far, we still need representation from many of you. To make this a successful program we need at least one neighbor from every street in the Broadstone area. Even if you think that your street is already covered, call anyways because the more participation and visibility the program has on your street, the more successful it will have.
To get everyone acquainted with the program and the benefits of Neighborhood Watch, we will be holding a meeting to provide all the details of the program. We will also take this opportunity to establish Block Captains. See overview below to get an idea of a Block Captain.

Role of a Block Captain
Be the spokesperson for the group
Liaison between Folsom Police and Neighborhood Watch Group
Organize and arrange your own Neighborhood Watch meetings (neighbors should share the responsibility of hosting these meetings)
Maintain a master list of all members and important information about them
Delegate work assignments such as:
New recruitment
Vacation Home Watch
Block Parents
Neighborhood Patrol
Fund Raising Activities
Developing and maintaining block maps
Distribution of materials
WatchMail notifications

Once the Neighborhood Watch is established, the city will install Neighborhood Watch signs.
